The city of Stockholm is home to one of the largest air conditioning networks in the world. Each year, the company's facilities supply close to 8.300 GWh of energy in the form of heat, 400 GWh of refrigeration and 500 GWh of electricity.

According to its CEO, Anders Egelrud, cogeneration is one of the bases of the company since it allows to take advantage of the 90% of the energy contained in the fuel. At full load, the boiler consumes around 12.000 m3 of biomass certified by FSC Sustainable Forest Management, which reaches 40% per train and 60% per ship.

For the mayor of Stockholm, Karin Wanngård, "These actions represent a big step towards the goal of Stockholm being a city free of fossil fuels in the year 2040. We want to continue being an example for other cities and it is that giving priority to the environment brings these results. "
