The Spanish Association for Biomass Energy Recovery -AVEBIOM- officially launches the call for Expobiomasa (24-26, September, 2019) with the opening of the contract period. After eleven successive editions of success, AVEBIOM announces the 12 edition of the Biomass Technology Specialized Fair in Valladolid, with the hope of continuing to promote the largest professional meeting specialized in the energy use of biomass of reference for Spain and Portugal, and commercial bridge between Europe and Latin America. Expobiomasa, which continues on a biennial basis, thus reinforces its outstanding position in the ranking as one of the five best fairs in the sector worldwide and will alternate in the calendar of international events with the celebration of important fairs, such as Progetto Fuoco in Verona.
What attracts Expobiomasa professionals?
Expobiomasa is a professional meeting: the 78% of visitors already work on biomass projects. The event has become a meeting point for the different professionals that make up its entire value chain, although there are two groups of professionals who come to Expobiomasa to sit with suppliers and find technological solutions.
- On the one hand, interested in solutions for heating and air conditioning with biomass: installers, commercial distributors, decorators, builders, engineers, municipal managers, distribution groups, large energy consumers, ...
- And on the other hand, interested in the production of biofuels: professionals of the agroforestry sector and their industry dedicated to the supply of wood chips, firewood, olive stones, pellets and other by-products, engineering, professionals of the recycling sector, investors, distribution companies and biomass logistics, ...
For the majority, both visitors and exhibitors, Expobiomasa is the best professional trade fair they attend, the main reason why the 90% of professionals say they will attend the next edition. The 89% of professionals who attended the last edition, assures that he attended to find "news, offers and business opportunities", and the 90% do not hesitate to qualify as "satisfactory visit."
A growing sector
Expobiomasa is a reflection of a sector in constant evolution year after year. The fair evolves in parallel with the revitalization of the sector, which is seeing new electricity generation and biogas projects, and above all an increase in the demand for the installation of thermal biomass equipment.
It is noteworthy that Expobiomasa attended three hundred professionals from the American continent, highlighting the participation of visitors from Mexico, Chile and Argentina, countries that actively promote the use of biomass as a source of energy and in which it is increasing very quickly the import of technology.
Among Europeans, Portugal, by proximity and importance of the sector, is still the most represented country behind Spain, both in exhibiting companies and visitors, the last edition we have more than a thousand visitors from the Portuguese country. Other countries highlighted are Italy and France.
The "postferia" is also an attraction for professionals who visit Valladolid, for example, the initiative FLAVOR TO BIOMASS, with special menus, pinchos routes, tastings and tastings allows relaxed and informal meetings that facilitate more business opportunities.
Thinking about exposing
Expobiomasa will be the trade fair specialized in the most important sector in Europe in 2019. This is the opinion of the European associations of biomass and the exhibiting companies, which when surveyed indicate in an 94% that Expobiomasa is equal to or better than other professional fairs in the energy sector.
The fair is one of the few events capable of offering figures on the economic return on investment in participation. According to the organization's surveys, it is estimated that the last edition of Expobiomasa facilitated an increase in sales to all exhibitors of close to 17,2 million euros, 25% more than in 2015.
Participation facilities
AVEBIOM has established three hiring periods with interesting discounts for firms that register beforehand:
- First open term until the 31 of October of 2018. Discounts of 40% on the contracted floor, which reaches the 60% for AVEBIOM associates.
- Second registration period with discount of 15% on the contracted floor, for hiring up to the 31 of March of 2019. This will be 25% for associates.
- Final registration period until the 31 of May of 2019, in which only an 10% discount will be applied to associates.
