The new CHP-BiomassBoilers4.0 technology from AP Bioenergietechnik and ÖKOTHERM will be at #Expobiomasa2017

It is an electro-thermal element installed in a ÖKOTHERM polycombustible biomass boiler, with the possibility of production of hot water, DHW, steam, hot air and thermal oil, which allows the production of electricity above 2% of the thermal energy generated .

With this new technology, all the electrical needs for the operation of the boiler itself can be covered and it is also intended to be able to supply the energy needs of single-family houses. In larger boilers, the performance increases exponentially, so the innovation will be very interesting for the industrial and semi-industrial sector. The technology employed requires practically no maintenance, which gives it great advantages over other forms of electric power production in boilers.

The main use of this polycombustible biomass boiler is the production of hot water to provide heat and DHW for houses, buildings, swimming pools, underfloor heating, etc., in a range of 49 kW up to 950 kW. The great advantage over other boilers is the ability to use cheap fuels from virtually any biomass (pruning, straw, coffee wells, manure, husk, olive bone etc.).

Apart from the production of hot water, the boiler is also able to produce steam, thermal oil, hot air and electricity, as a new incorporated element.

The boiler is suitable for use in agroindustry, industry in general, in town halls and other buildings for public use, as well as for single-family houses and residential sector.
