The biomass market in Spain is already prepared to make the leap to a "boom" in the installation of biomass stoves and boilers. It is expected to follow the pace that followed Italy a few years ago when oil returns to higher prices than the current.
According to the National Observatory of Biomass Boilers (ONCB), in Spain the consumer values, above all, the stability in the price and the excellent local environmental values that the use of biomass provides.
According to the ONCB, 2016 exceeded the installed 175.000 equipment. Compared to the previous year, this data has grown around an 25% in equipment number.
Italian brands
The 50% of the stoves and boilers that are imported into Spain are Italian.
