Warming up with biofuels is more sustainable and more economical

Graphical evolution of fuel prices

We show in the graph the evolution of prices to the final consumer, including taxes and delivery at the point of consumption, since the last semester of 2014. When the prices of fossil fuels such as gas or diesel have been lower internationally. It is evident that climatizar a house with biomass (pellets, splinter or bone) is much cheaper than doing it with fossil fuels, as seen in the graph can be the third part. On the other hand, it is usual that the initial investment in the installation of biomass is more expensive, but the amortization and savings compensate.

Using the December 2017 prices let's compare. A family that spends 2.000 euros on heating oil would need 2.215 euros in gas, 1.558 euros in pellets and only 780 euros if it uses wood chips for its heating.
