7.500 biomass and renewable gas professionals have been able to do face-to-face business

2021 Fair
The 327 exhibiting firms at EXPOBIOMASA and the I Renewable Gas Show took advantage of the three days of the fair. Hundreds of business meetings have been held in person, postponed for months, in an environment of absolute security.

Javier Díaz, president of the Spanish Biomass Association, is satisfied with this particular edition of the fair and has expressed his gratitude both to the firms that have entrusted and supported the event and to the attendees: “all together we contribute to reactivate the sector of bioenergy ”. Thanks to 7.480 trade visitors

The fair and the show have received close to eight thousand professional visitors coming mainly from Spain, Portugal and Latin America during the 3 days of face-to-face event, held from September 21 to 23 in Valladolid.

During the next September 27 to 30, professionals accredited in Expobiomasa will be able to continue their meetings and close agreements and projects by video call through the digital platform LIVE.EXPOBIOMASA.COM

In this same virtual space, around 400 professionals, mainly from Latin America, Spain and Portugal, have been able to attend the 14th International Bioenergy Congress (# CIB21) remotely.

On the other hand, all the technical and commercial conferences that have been held in person during these three days and a series of videos of selected exhibitors will continue to be available to all those accredited on the live.expobiomasa.com platform and also openly through the channel YouTube's AVEBIOM.

In this way, professionals who have not been able to attend in person will have the opportunity to learn about some of the news about equipment, projects or regulations that have been presented at the fair and the show.

Optimistic environment for the near future of the activity in biomass and renewable gas during # CIB21

The current situation of the fossil fuel market, with the price of natural gas and CO2 emission rights skyrocketing, and the direction of aid policies in the EU towards reducing emissions and implementing renewable energies, place to biomass and renewable gas as energy alternatives more desirable than ever in the industrial field.

The president of AVEBIOM agrees with what was expressed by some of the most relevant technologists in the country at # CIB21: “thermointensive industries must undertake decarbonization processes sooner rather than later and the biomass sector is prepared to contribute successfully to that change ”.

Both in the sessions dedicated to renewable gas within # CIB21 and in the technical-commercial conferences organized openly by the Danish commercial office and the Renewable Gas Show, the public success has been enormous, with the rooms overflowing and a also high number of attendees online.

At the 2050st Renewable Gas Show, it was found that there are mature technologies capable of obtaining multiple products, reducing emissions and producing renewable energy from waste management. Spain could be placed at the head of the countries that obtains the most energy from renewable gas in XNUMX.
