The new "Mobile pellet plant" of Ecofricalia Sostenible will be in Expobiomasa

The new Mobile Pellet Plant of Ecofricalia Sostenible will be in #Expobiomasa2017

The Mobile Pellet Plant is a compact pellet manufacturing plant assembled in a container of 40 feet.

It has all the machinery anchored to transform splinters, sawdust or dry shavings into pellets ready for consumption. Simply connect it to the grid or electrical generator and put it into operation without the need for installation. One person is enough to operate the Mobile Pellet Plant. Its design and layout make its operation and maintenance fast and simple. The average time of change of the most important parts of the pelletizer (matrix and rollers) is 15 minutes, so it hardly affects the continuity of production. Its easy transfer makes it possible to dispense with the mobilization of the raw material, being able to take advantage of biomass from different geographical points, translating into a significant reduction in logistic costs and carbon footprint.

All the equipment comes from the Italian manufacturer Smartwood SRL, which has dozens of installations throughout Europe. The system allows to obtain greater profitability and performance due to the fact that the ratio "kW / kg produced" is lower compared to other machinery.

General characteristics (depending on the configuration):

- Power: Three-phase electrical.

- Installed power: 68kW-76kW.

- Hourly production: 200-500kg.

- Input material size: Sawdust, shavings and chips maximum G30

With the Mobile Pellet Plant it is now possible to manufacture pellets wherever the raw material is available. Its main advantage lies in its easy adaptability, being able to be transported without the need for disassembly and connected even in remote places where it is not possible to access the electrical network.

Its use is intended for the use of wood and agricultural waste from various sources: recycling companies, forest management and cleaning, wood sector in general (furniture factories, carpentry, agri-food sector, etc ...), or in any industry in which the wood has a low cost or is considered a waste, so that the surplus byproduct becomes an object of value, giving it a second life for commercialization or self-consumption.

Its applications are very diverse, and it is also recommended for the granulation of other products such as compost from humus or manure or organic waste, algae, aromatic plants, RSU, etc ...

Investing in the production of biomass at small and medium scale means taking advantage of local resources and promoting environmentally, economically and socially the rural environment: forest cleaning, generation of employment or promotion of the productive fabric among others.
