THE BUILDING OF CETEMAS IN CARBAYIN (ASTURIAS) SAVES A 70% IN HEATING THANKS TO USING #BIOMASA

Juan Majada, director of CETEMAS, entity that uses the building indicates that they have gone from a monthly expense of about 2.100 euros in diesel to 700 with biomass, for a building that is around 3.000 square meters. "The savings is half, but if you add that you can turn on the heating when and how you want and for stays, the savings is 70%," he says. Asturias is one of the largest producers of wood chips in Spain, there is still a way to go in its energy use, as they already do in the Nordic countries and central Europe, where it is a majority energy, on the 70%. The air conditioning company Grupo DCL Mainsa was in charge of the installation of the biomass system because they wanted to be an example of an efficient air conditioning system that would work in large public buildings, and in the end the saving has been very considerable.
