New District Heating in Sestao with HERZ biomass boilers
Hand in hand with Tecman, an engineering company specialized in energy services, the installation of a District Heating with biomass has been carried out for the Txabarri-El Sol de Sestao area.
The installation of this heat network is part of an urban regeneration project promoted by the Sestao Berri society and supported by the European project EU-GUGLE, in addition to having the support of the Department of Housing of the Basque Government and the Institute for Diversification and Energy Saving (IDAE).
The District Heating project is divided into two clearly differentiated phases. For the first phase, already completed in 2019, Termosun supplied two biomass boilers (a HERZ firematic of 500 kW and a HERZ firematic of 250 kW), in addition to a HERZ ECOcond system to achieve greater efficiency in installations that supply energy to 249 homes and 20 commercial basements.
In the second phase, Termosun has supplied another new biomass boiler 500 kW HERZ firematic to supply 150 more homes, offering a total power of the network of 1.250 kW.
