AVEBIOM awards the 'Promotion of 2017 Bioenergy' award to the University of Valladolid

La University of Valladolid (UVa) has been recognized with the award 'Foster 2017 Bioenergy', awarded every year by the Spanish Association for Energy Efficiency of Biomass, AVEBIOM, for its actions and investments aimed at promoting the energy benefits of biomass.

With this award, the jury wants to put in value the bet of the Grape for the biomass with the creation of the own title of Master in Engineering of the Bioenergy and Energetic Sustainability, as well as the installation of systems of biomass for the different campuses of the University of Valladolid. It also refers to the "enormous work of teachers and technicians, both training and awareness among their students and other members of the educational community, both nationally and internationally, the benefits of these energy facilities with biomass used in different facilities dependent on that academic institution. "

The award ceremony will take place in Valladolid, the 26 day of September, during the inauguration of the Fair EXPOBIOMASA'17, organized by AVEBIOM, which will be held from 26 to 29 that month at the Trade Fair of Valladolid.

In previous editions, the Tarrasa City Council (2010), IDAE (2011), the Andalusian Energy Agency (2012), the Junta de Castilla y León (2013), the Office of the Climate Change of the Ministry of Agriculture and the Environment (2014), the Xunta de Galicia (2015) and NASUVINSA (Navarra of Land and Housing) (2016).
