Interview with Mario Arranz, president of the Valladolid Athletic Handball Club.
How did you know you could install a biomass boiler in a single house?
During the Expobiomasa 2015 fair, in a promotional visit that we made the components of the board and first team of the Club. This is where AVEBIOM explained the possibilities of the boilers. My preconceived idea was that only stoves could be installed in the houses.
Why did you choose this solution?
I moved from home and there was a diesel boiler there. Being a single-family home I began to value options trying to minimize the final expense and to be as environmentally friendly as possible.
I was also evaluating the installation of aerothermy and geothermal energy, but the costs of the initial investment made me decide on the pellet.
What balance do you make of your experience?
It has been a success to have managed to reduce the consumption bill for heating in more than one 30%, at the same time we respect the environment to a greater extent.
What advantages have you found in biomass?
Mainly, the economic savings in heating consumption.
When did you carry out the installation and what boiler did you buy?
In May, 2017 installed the boiler, which has a power of 30KW.
