The new DRIADE pellet stove from PALAZZETTI represents a true revolution in the biomass domestic heating sector.

biomass stoves innovation
The new stove is capable of drastically reducing emissions and pellet consumption, reducing installation and maintenance costs.

Driade is a "pellet stove concept" developed within the Green-Stove project, to field test a set of new technologies with the aim of increasing efficiency and significantly reducing emissions into the atmosphere, through new systems of combustion and combustion management. The EU has already recognized and supported this project within the LIFE PROGRAM, which aims to take advantage of biomass to contribute to the decarbonisation of the EU through the development of more efficient biomass products capable of drastically reducing NOx, CO, OGC emissions. and PM. Three patents were filed for development that find their strengths in a clean two-phase combustion process and in control technologies that aim to greatly reduce polluting emissions and increase efficiency. These are the values achieved:

NOx: 91mg/nm3

CO: 52mg/nm3

COG: 2mg/nm3

PM: 7mg/nm3

The three objectives achieved have been to reduce pollutants thanks to a new two-phase combustion system, reduce the accumulation of combustion residues and integrate innovative control algorithms and connectivity services to achieve intelligent interaction with the stove, enjoying artificial intelligence. and big data analytics.

All this with a high repeatability of the benefits even in the case of non-homogeneous users and installations.

In short, the project represents a true revolution in the biomass domestic heating sector, capable of drastically reducing emissions and pellet consumption, increasing efficiency and reducing installation and maintenance costs.
