Currently, emissions are one of the fundamental challenges of the pellet sector. The current situation indicates to the sector that it is necessary to control the way in which emission inventories are carried out, since sometimes it relies on erroneous calculations. As an example, it happened in Holland where it was believed that the particle emissions came from an 40% of the biomass and then, after reviewing factors and calculations, the contribution was reduced to 8%.
