Obtained the municipal license of the City Council of Aranda de Duero and the administrative concession to operate in the area for the next thirty years, the REBI company has started the demolition of the arandina ship where it will build the thermal power plant with which it will shape the biomass energy distribution network, both for heating and for hot water.

It will be supplied 3.300 housing and public buildings. The investment is estimated in 8 millones de euros, and will involve the creation of 40 jobs between direct and indirect. In total, 10 megawatts will be installed that will generate 45,5 million kilowatts of thermal energy in a plant that will consume 13.500 tons of local biomass per year. "The connected buildings will stop emitting 14.700 tons of CO2 into the atmosphere, which is equivalent to removing some 6.000 cars from the circulation", they say. ».

REBI, an associated company in AVEBIOM, is one of the leading companies in Spain in the creation, operation, management and marketing of biomass heat networks, operating as those of Soria, Ólvega and Valladolid, or in projects such as Palencia, Guadalajara and Alcorcón.
