The new Power Ecocina of sustainable Ecofricalia will be in Expobiomasa

The new ECOCINA POWER from Ecofricalia Sostenible will be in #Expobioamsa2017

The Power Ecocina is the result of merging thermoelectric technology and the use of pellet to create a micro-cogeneration system that produces electricity at low voltage while cooking.

The device consists of two different parts: the kitchen-pellet burner and the thermoelectric generator. The first, cylindrical, incorporates holes that produce gasification of the wood and efficient combustion of the pellet. It includes two heat sensors that emerge from one side and cross the entire width of the inner chamber, bathing in flames and providing thermal energy to the second part, the thermoelectric generator. This is coupled on one side externally in the form of an elbow which is filled with water in order to cool the device for proper operation.

The continuous electric current to 12V will allow the charging or activation of a multitude of electrical devices through the different accessories that accompany the device, such as a USB adapter that reduces to 5V.

A simple device for everyday use, manual ignition and very easy to use with a consumption of 1kg of pellet for 1 hour of use. Once that time has passed, either the burner is fed again or the embers that provide energy for other 20-30 min are used.

  • Weight: 7kg
  • Dimensions (AxLxH): 22x22x51
  • Maximum electrical power: 14W
  • Continuous electric power: 9W
  • Voltage: 14V
  • Lifespan: 50.000h.
  • Working temperature: 150-600ºC

There are multiple applications of this product considering its size and light weight, which make it easy to transport and therefore very useful for trips. Likewise, its low consumption and price make it a renewable energy device that can be used in areas or communities with low resources anywhere in the world.

Any remote place with difficulty accessing the network and minimal energy needs is perfect to use the Power Ecocina: country houses, camping, farms, low-income and isolated areas ...

It can provide lighting with several LED bulbs, charge devices such as phones, tablets, small batteries or use radios, fans or other 12V devices with a maximum power of 8W.

It is the ideal solution for these recipients who, taking advantage of the cooking energy, will obtain sufficient electricity to cover the basic lighting and load needs of their appliances. In addition, it can be used both outdoors and indoors with extraction hood.
