BCA200, the chip condensing boiler developed by Biocurve will be at Expobiomasa

BCA200, the splinter condensing boiler developed by BIOCURVE will be in #Expobiomasa2017

BioCurve has developed the first condensation boiler for chips.

The BCA200 boiler, in addition, offers a record power of 200 kW, doubling the power of the largest biomass condensing boiler designed to date, the BioCurve BCH100. To this end, it has redesigned the spiral heat exchanger, by means of computational fluid dynamics (CFD) simulation, so that it has optimized the heat exchange for considerable power in an ultra compact space.

The burner has been a great challenge, because the already classic burner of biocurve rotary outcrop, suitable for the pellet dosage, was not suitable for splinters. The new burner is distinguished by the following properties:

- keeps the rotary plate for a homogeneous distribution of fuel

- retains automatic cleaning in the combustion plate

- new automatic cleaning of the interior of the burner, minimizing maintenance

- new fuel partial confinement system, with lower primary and secondary secondary combustion

The resulting boiler presents an extraordinary improvement in the performance, and therefore the saving, of installations in a wide range of powers, to be able to work in cascade. Essential characteristics:

- Chip yield between 102% and 105%, 10% -15% higher than conventional "premium" boilers

- minimum emissions

- double set point, unique in biomass, without restrictions from 25ºC to 80ºC

- great space compactness: 200 kW in just 1 m2

- no limit on the return temperature

- unique spiral exchanger, stainless steel, with automatic water injection cleaning

- single rotary burner, with double automatic cleaning

- integrated ash compactor as standard

- integral control of the remote boiler as standard, from Smartphone or computer, through the cloud

The BCA200 boilers can be installed in cascade, so you can easily reach 1 MW power in very small spaces, heating up surfaces from 2.000 m2 to more than 10.000 m2.

The client type is very diverse. As examples, the following are enough: Distributed heat networks (district heatings), farms, oil mills, public and administrative buildings, nursing homes, hospitals and health centers, hotels and rural homes, swimming pools, sports centers, teaching centers / schools , blocks of houses, religious centers, ...
